The extract from trade register is a document containing the current, existing details of a company in\nthe business register. The translation of the extract from trade register may be necessary in many\ncases, for example to submit an application, open a foreign bank account, establish a foreign\ncompany or establish a new site. For these purposes, the authorities usually request an authentic\ntranslation.<\/p>\n
Authentic translation of extracts from trade register<\/strong><\/p>\n For use in Hungary, we can make authentic translations of extracts from trade register, data to be\nentered in the business register and company documents in accordance with the current version of\nLabor Code 24\/1986 (26.VI.). (Only OFFI Zrt. is authorized to issue an authentic translation of other\ndocuments.)<\/p>\n Any translation with an authentication clause by a translation agency or translator is generally\naccepted for foreign use. It is conceivable that a super-authentication (apostille) is also required; a\nnotary working in the given target language or the consulate of the given country can provide the\ndocument with this.<\/p>\n Types of extract from trade register and copy of register<\/strong><\/p>\n Extracts from trade register therefore contain the current, existing data in the business register. They\nare of different types, depending on their evidential value: authentic and public extracts from trade\nregister.<\/p>\n First of all, it is informative: it is authentic, but not of public authority, so it is not considered\nan authentic instrument and has no evidential value.\u00a0It may show the details of a company as\nrecorded in the business register, but it may not be accepted for official purposes.<\/p>\n This can be an electronic (certified with an electronic signature and a time stamp) or a paper-\nbased public extract from trade register.\nIf you need not only the currently valid data but also the data that has been deleted, you can access\nit by requesting a copy of register.<\/p>\n Why is it important that the translation is done by a professional translator?<\/strong><\/p>\n Professional translation and proofreading of documents ensure that the content and meaning of the\noriginal documents are fully conveyed to the users of the target language.
